I need a court order.?

Hey everyone,

First I'd like to say that I'm in a situation where my ex-boyfriend just won't leave me or my boyfriend alone. He is currently in another country but I do not want to deal with him anymore especially in person when he comes back.

I live in California, and I have some proof that proves my ex-boyfriend is an obsessive SOB. I do not have a lawyer and I prefer not to have one cuz I don't have the money to pay for it.

My questions:
1. Where do I go to get it?
2. Does it cost money? If so, what's the estimate?
3. Do I need to show proof that this person scares me?
4. Is there a possible reason they would deny the order?

You go to your county court but you have to have substantial proof that this person is a threat to you, otherwise you won't get one. Proving that you are scared of him doesn't count.
