I need help from a lawyer- prisoner laws?

someone i know is in prison. he just found out that somewhere under maine laws, i believe title 34, subtitle unknown, there is a law for people who are held in medium security because of cronic care, or in other words recieving a medication that is a narcotic, because narcotics are not allowed in a minimum security facility in maine, are entitled to 2 extra days good behavior time per month, and he was informed of this by his pod control officer, but i cant seem to find it anywhere. he was in prison for driving while intoxicated nothing extreme. is there anyone that can help me find this information? the subtitle and/or any documents that can prove this? thank you.
