the police does not look at race, religion, creed etc. they serve the public without discrimination. if you don't get the right response from your PD. There are ppl above them. Go through the chain.

Keep records of every threat they make to you as soon as they make it. Date everything. Try and get them recorded, maybe on a voice message? Then go to the police. I don't think you can get a restraining order until you have proof of them threatening you with physical violence. Good luck!

Get proof of the threats, a witness, or better yet, get the threats on tape.

The fact that it is based on your religion takes it beyond harrasment and into the realm of hate crime. Which carry much harsher penalties and a federal issue.

The nice ones will record over 30 hours.

you need to either get some witnesses that would vouge for you and say they heard it as well, or thebest thing would be to get it on tape. Keep reporting each incident. File a written complaint. It needs to be in writing at the police station, not just a phone call. Press charges for harrassment. This is also a hate crime since they are stupid enough to mention your religion. That alone is highly illegal. The best thing you can do is keep on going like nothing happened and get it on tape. Whenever you think they are going to say something or are around have a personal tape recorder and start recording. Keep it hidden too.

I would start by keeping a journal. Record every incident. Date , time, where, what happened, who was there, and witnesses. Even if you only know their nicknames, write it down. Keep it safe. If you plan to do this on your computer, get a thumb drive or two. Keep one with you and the other safe, but not at home. You parents, or a member at church. Make reports at the police. You are allowed to do that without pressing charges. ( A woman with an abusive husband was successful in her claim of abuse 'cause she documented it with the police. And you have farther proof that it happened when you said it happened. The notes of when, where, etc are for you if you go to trial. And sorry, if this does escalate, there is proof that they could have done it) And remind the police that being singled out because of any reason is a felony and is consider a hate crime.
Don't forget to go somewhere to heal you mind ( church, movies)

WOW. I'm not an attorney or anything, but anyone should be able to file an order of protection against anyone who is making threats or harassing. Is there an attorney in your ward, or stake? Have you talked to any of your leaders about it?
Either way, there's absolutely nothing valid in any of those threats. It sounds like a bunch of malicious kids out to scorn those who choose to live a more spiritual life. Hang in there, be strong.

get evidence on tape etc. and continue to report them, including for racism (which is what it is if they are threatening you based on your religion).

Okay I have a couple questions for you. How old are you, are you american, are you caucasian, you male or female? all of those, have they done anything that you could say endangered your life at all? I can help you better if you answer these questions.

Record them doing it. and then sue them if they keep lying catch them, bug thier phones or something. Or you can just move to Utah. No one resally messes w/ you there.
