Is that legal? Because I want some sort of compisation but I dont know what to email them to scare them.

It's perfectly legal, items are backordered all the time. Your only guaranteed recourse is a return of the purchase price if you cancel the transaction (assuming pre-paid), any additional compensation would be at the discretion of the seller. If you have not been charged for the purchase, there is no obligation on the seller at all.
The exception to this is if there is a signed contract promising a delivery date, in that case a letter reminding them of the date would be sufficient to preserve your rights. Please note that a listing of a ship date on line is NOT considered a contract. |

Completely legal. If you haven't already, call their customer service department. They may be able to give you something for compensation (like free shipping). If nothing else, cancel the order and get it somewhere else. If you have a hard time canceling, then call your credit card company (hopefully this is what you mean by "my card" and not a debit card) to report the issue, and they can credit your account for that charge and then they will go after that company to get the money back from them. |
