We have already spent the money and can not give it back. We have worked many hours trying to help this person ship the camper and moved the camper for it to be in a better location to be picked up.

If you sold it to them they can't just demand the money back.
Email them and tell them that if they won't pick it up you're going to classify it as abandoned. Since you will have to pay to get rid of it, tell them you're going to give it away to whoever will get rid of it for you. |

I would call a local tow-truck company, they handle stuff like this all the time. If one says he's too busy, call another one. someone will be happy to talk to you. in the mean time, e-mail the buyer and tell him you will begin charging him storage in 30-days |

Its going to depend on what your agreement was. Whose responsibility was it to get the camper to the buyer? |

Do you have a bill of sale? Do you have any agreement in writing as to whether the buyer would pick it up or you would ship it. Do you have anything in writing agreeing to your transporting the camper to some other location as a part of the purchase?
Bottom line we don't know how the transaction was made , in person, via registered mail, Ebay?. The short of it is unless there is an agreement in writing, it is the buyers responsibility to pick up the item. Unless again there is some agreement stating you will deliver it, ship it, or make arrangements to have it moved to a location of the buyers choice.
I would tell them to come get it and be glad I am not imposing a storage fee, as it has been 6 months since they purchased it and have not removed it from your property. See how they like that. |
