I was a victim of an un-provoked assult, can i sue?

me, my cousin and my best frineds were approached my 2 boys who then went on to hit my cousin with a shovel, this ripped his ear almost off, broke his nose and cut his head, they then beat me up, hit me with a shovel and fractured my jaw. Then they ran my best friend over leaving him in hospital for atleast 2 months with a puntured lung, head injury and a knee broken in 2 places. could we sue?

yep. certainly could. You'd have to find the 2 boys to sue though. Even if they're under 18 you can sue their parents. You can sue for all medical expenses and pain and suffering. I hope you got a police report and the boys were arrested...that would definitely help your case. Take plenty of photos of the injuries. Keep a file of doctors reports. Good luck. |
