I was caught doing 110mph in a 70mph limit. What can I expect when this goes to Court?

You are right at the top of the Magistrates' sentencing guidelines. They only go up to 110mph in a 70mph and after that you are off the scale. You are looking at a 56 day ban for that speed. Have you got any points? If so, how many?

Well for a start that was very silly of you. You will probably get your licence taken away. This is what happened to my brother when he was caught speeding.
I have been hit by car and so have many other people I know. I have also known reckless drivers to injure themselves and one man I know has horrible scars on his face.

Thank God you didn't kill someone or yourself.
I hope that you learn your lesson through this and drive at a safer speed in the future.

You can expect a ban of at least 56 days (probably a lot more) and a LARGE fine.

Actually - if you did not see the police motorcycle behind you then you can certainly expect a longer ban as they will probably consider it as driving without due care or even dangerous driving.
How can you miss a police bike right behind you??

You will be banned and fined. How long for and how much will depend on your previous record and the road conditions, amount of traffic etc.

A heavy fine, points on your license and maybe even a temporary driving ban, depends on the judge.

Not sure what country and state you are from, so it is hard to judge. My brother had his license revoked pending successful completion of a drivers safety course at his expense at a local community college. He was doing 35-40 over the limit. But, this was in more of a residential area as well, they may have gone heavier on him for that.

instant 12 month ban. PLUS a whacking great fine...

AND if youre charged with dangerous driving, (cos of teh speed you were doing) you can also expect a jail sentence... and having to take a retest... if youre a bad boy, then expect an extended test...
