The judge will most likely be so nice he will send a car to pick you up and even have a driver to drive you to court.

They will even have some nice matching braclets for you.

It is called failure to appear and a warrent will have been issued if you don't show up.

I know here in Utah they don't care if you are not on time they will put out a warrant.

I would call your lawyer ASAP because you can be issued a bench warrant for a no show and you can be arrested for that! Call him even if he is a pain in the *** he is your only hope. Sending the judge a nice little note is NOT going to do crap for u! Be honest with the lawyer and he will try to smooth things over for u! Dont wait- DO IT NOW!

I would guess you are in truble and I would think that you would get a find.. but It also depends on what you were going there for. they could alos put a warrent out for your arest!!

I knew someone who never showed up for jury duty. Well, he moved away. Well, that's what they said. I tried to mail him, but the letter was returned. I went over to his families house and they were gone too. So was the house! Nothing but land and hydro-seed where a foundation once existed. Anyway, sorry, I got off on a tangent. No, I think everything should be fine.

You need to go on and show up. Your attorney is not trying to be a pain he's just looking out for you. You can be jailed for failure to appear. Oh by the way, thanks for the 2 points.

I think that is called contempt of court and you can get in deep do do for that. Go take responsibility for your actions. You will feel better about yourself and you'll stop getting harassed on the phone by lawyers. Do the right thing!

You are probably going to be in trouble... and I don't think you should "write the judge a nice little note" because by doing that it just makes you look like more of a child. You are an adult, you forgot your trial, you pay the concequences. It's called RESPONSIBILITY........even though you are late... JUST GO!!! Being late is better than not going at all!!!

If it was a criminal trial, the judge would issue a bench warrant for your arrest. Best call your attorney.

If it was a lawsuit, the judge would rule in favor of your opponent. Too bad, should have been there.
