I won my unemployment hearing but my employer is appealing

I finally had a hearing where my employer presented their evidence and I presented mine and I won. I actually had to appeal to even get this hearing because I was late filing the original appeal.
Anyway, is it easy for the employer to win this appeal? Will it involved me or do they have to win it first and then get another hearing? I read the decision and it was clearly in my favor because their was no rule in place that I was fired for. And it was a first offense.
At the hearing, the employer did not bother to show up. They just had a file of evidence admitted, things like all my prior write-ups since my hiring, even though they weren't for the reason I was let go.
Anyway, I'm a little worried but am fairly confident I could win again, but this company does not to EVER pay unemployment claims and I'm the only one I know of that as won against them. They'd rather spend a fortune for a law firm fighting it than paying unemployment claims.
