Well first you have to prove they are doing something wrong so you can get someone to take the case. Also if you are the ONLY person suing you CAN'T get a class action lawsuit. You'd have to get more AT&T Customers interested, and start by explaining what AT&T is doing wrong. Once you get more people involved your lawyer can talk to Courts about getting it turned in to a Class Action Lawsuit. You do realize you'd get more out of them by being the only one though right? The Lawyer will take their money no matter how much is made. After that remember AT&T will pay X amount. If you were going to get 1,000 you WON'T get 1,000 per person. There will be a cap. You could end up getting 500 because so many people got involved. |

You actually need multiple customers of AT&T willing to file in the class action lawsuit with you; the whole concept of a class action lawsuit is to trying "multiple" plaintiffs in one suit against the defendant. You can speak with an attorney who handles class action lawsuits and see if they are willing too...
A. Even attempt to take the case; class action lawsuits are expensive.
B. It's possible to track down enough potential clients that are "willing" to be a part of the class action lawsuit.
C. If there is already a pending class action lawsuit you can jump onboard with. |
