IMPORTANT!! Question about court?

I'm 14 and i will have to go to testify in court.
It's for something pretty serious and I was wondering if I would be asked to swear on the Bible? I am Christian Catholic.
Is there a certain age you have to be for this?
I'm scared to do it because I am a believer and yeah i don't know it's confusing but ye

You will not be asked to swear on the Bible. You will be asked to raise your right hand and swear or affirm that the testimony you are about to give will be the truth. In fact, those are the exact words judges in my state use and they do not add the phrase "So help you God." Other states may have slight variations.
How old do you have to be? Old enough to know the difference between a truth and a lie. That's all.

Most courts do not have a bible for someone to place their hand on. Most oaths include the phrase "so help me God." Most courts have an alternative oath that omits that phrase if you are uncomfortable with it. Relax, listen to the question and tell the truth and you will be just fine.
