You can't relinquish your citizenship, and are in fact guaranteed citizenship by the Consitution if you were born or naturalized in the US:
"All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside."
Our government cannot revoke citizenship as a punishment as the Supreme Court decided in Trop v. Dulles
Mr. Obama taught Constitutional Law at Chicago, perhaps you missed that class?

no. theres nothing legal to a statement- just like he isn't legally a citizen of the whole world.
in fact you can only get dual citizenship if your mother has citizenship in a country you werent born in.
i actually know of some people with triple citizenship- my dad's friend's kids have triple because their mom has dual in countries they werent born in.
so you cant revoke his citizenship legally
its freedom of speech also...... plus speech isnt legally binding....... |

No. It is the fact that he never renounced his Indonesian citizenship following his adoption by his step father that disqualifies him as an American citizen. This was not done at age 18 and therefore means he is still an Indonesian citizen.
