If I can't break into my neighbors house because it's illegal, why can an illegal immigrant break into the US?

If I can't break into my neighbors house because it's illegal, why can an illegal immigrant break into the US?

Just wondering what makes this ok. Additional Details A: Um, I don't know how much you know about geography but it's a little easier for Mexicans to hop the border, being that there is one to hop and all.
B: Did I say Mexicans? No, I said immigrants. Illegal is illegal as long as my taxes are paying for it (education, healthcare, etc). My dollars don't care where you came from.

Janet Napolitano makes it ok. She thinks illegal immigration isn't illegal and she's in charge of securing our borders. |

I think that the answer is obvious.
Neither one is, "ok." But breaking and entering into a home is a bit easier to detect/witness, etc. than someone actually making it across a border and becoming part of the population, illegal or otherwise.
That's what most illegal immigrants do, they work and otherwise are law abiding individuals who do anything and everything to avoid conflict with the law. |

Well a person breaking into a house has the negative intention to steal and do something unproductive.
An illegal immigrant has the intention to try and imporve their life by harder work than the average person for a very substantially lower wage. They take jobs others dont want to do, and if they get a job you wanted then I suggest education? |

WTF?
How can you compare breaking into a house vs. illegals 'breaking' into America?
It's not like they CAN legally. They still do regardless.
You act like they can just come over here easily. There are risks they take to come here. Some even die.
If you have such a strong opposition to illegal immigrants then take your frustrations to the capitol. |

Because my friend we are all Earthlings who have roamed this planet from the year dot and we settle where we wish to settle. The only boundaries are the oceans, and that is the reason we have ships. America has been chopped up, fenced off, and the Government gave you your own little fields they call states. You are not Americans ! You are New Yorkers and Kentuckians and Philadelphian's etc etc, just like Europe, Russia and Asia, all chopped up into bits. Governments may hinder and hold up the movement of people, but they cannot stop it. The strange part is that; Once we have arrived at where we want to be, they do all in their power to keep us there, and then it starts all over again. |

Well, there are a few differences. For starters, your house is your property. Your country is not your property. |

Totally two different things dear.
Plus I don't know ANY illegal immigrant that comes here and does nothing. They come here with one thing in mind-
To work. I have seen them work twice as hard than Americans. That's a shame in itself.
RILEY said it right on! I could not have said it any better.
*Ashley - next time when you order a salad or eat fruit, remember who picked it for you. ILLEGALS.
No one breaks into a house for positive reasons, unless it's your own house because you lost your key. DUH
Hello? Illegals can't work at a McDonalds!
He is talking about picking fruit, picking lettuce, working 12 hours a day in the sun. Is that a job Americans would want? Hell no! |

For one thing, there is a difference between a crime and an administrative rule violation. It is not a crime to *BE* in the USA without the proper papers -- it is a violation of a rule, like driving without your license on your person. You can be "detained" and deported, but it is not like having a criminal conviction. On the other hand, COMING into the US by unlawful means is a crime, as is assisting or transporting or employing anyone who has come to this country illegally, or coming here when you're not allowed to (being a wanted criminal or the like). THOSE types of criiminals are caught, tried in our courts and put into our prisons. |

The clue is in the "illegal" part of illegal immigrant. |
|

 |
It doesn't.
You can try to break into Mexico (it's close) to see what I mean.
But it's funny that no one complains about European break ins, right?
They just come here and work and hide in plain sight. Report them too. |
