Yes, because no matter how dispicable the person is, we don't allow vigilante justice in this country. Bad people need to be tried, convicted, and punished within the law. Now, you may have an "excuse" for your crime, and you may be entitled to a reduce sentence, but you still committed homicide, and perhaps murder, and you should go to prison.
(If you were defending yourself during the molestation, that's a different story.) |
