Basically the contract is made out as Smith/Doe wedding reception - John Doe. John Doe didn't sign the contract, Jane Smith signed, however; even John Doe's name was misspelled.
Is this voidable?

It is for Doe, but Jane sign a legal contract. What ever the cancellation clause says, that is what she has to pay. The contract is not voidable. |

1 Why would someone draw up a contract w/ a wedding reception? That's a non-entity.
2 How could anyone misspell John Doe?
3 Why would someone enter into a contract w/ a person who can't spell "John Doe"? |

Jane Smith is obligated to fulfill her end of the contract that she signed, or face the penalties.
John Doe isn't obligated, because he didn't sign anything. But it's his wedding. So why wouldn't he pay? Unless the wedding is off? ANd you are trying to stick your ex with the bill? |

Yes! Both parties do have to sign it to be acknowledged. Otherwise Smith could just say he never even saw the thing "how can I be responsible?" |
