Prime example, everyone is just to SUE happy now days. Good God it makes you want to put barb wire around your house. I highly doubt someone came up and hit you for no reason. If that is the case, call the police.

Actually sueing if there are no obvious damages....... probably not worth the effort. Unless this is a contunuing thing.

If you have a witness you can easily have them charged with assault. And don't feel bad about it as people should know not to hit people.

Theh person can prolly be sued even if they had a reason. But if someone hit you without a reason and theh first thought that comes to mind is "Ohhh I am so gonna sue you, you helpless little spawn." I would kinda look at you funny.

Even if a person hits another person FOR a reason, they can still bring a civil suit against the attacker.

Keep in mind, whether they win or loose depends on damages, loss, situation, etc. A silly lawsuit can be dismissed out of hand or countersued as frivilous.

yes they should be sued, and forget what the dumb Bic answer says, "grow up ",that's a crap answer because if it happened to them they'd be offended..yes, you should get their fingerprint samples, some form of DNA, a picture, name address any info you can about them, camera from near by e stores, police reports should be made immediately, because this world is crazy and we have to protect our selves by carrying a gun, knife, tazor, any form of weapon is great to protect your self..
