If guns should be outlawed because they cause crime should spoons be outlawed for making people fat?

I think we need less laws and more people to take responsibilities for their actions.

I think we need people who can handle themselves emotionally. I think we need parents to lock up guns so children and adolescents don't have access to them. I think everyone should take parenting classes in high school. Examples are set in the home.

People are less and less willing to take responsibility for thier actions. THe only difference is that a gun would cause harm to others, whereas you being fat is only your problem.

no one is going to outlaw our guns,why must we have such ramblings daily. please stop giving the government ideas on things to ban. they can think of too many already and the lobbyist are helping them to come up with new ways to control us

Good grief! You're comparing a firearm to an eating utensil? Guns don't cause crime-it's certain people with the guns that commit crimes. And as far as spoons and "fat". Some people may have metabolic conditions or health issues that don't contribute to a healthy body mass index. I don't know of anyone who has told stories of the joys of Diabetes or a heart attack. Thyroid disease isn't too much fun either. Even-dare I say it? Cigarettes...there is someone who buys the cigarettes, lights the cigarettes and smokes the cigarettes-in knowledge of full disclosure of what smoking cigarettes will do over time. So, to answer your question, No.

Guns don't do anything unless people pull the trigger, they cause harm usually only when the person wants them to cause harm. Spoons don't make a person fat, certain kinds of food does, spoons are an aide to get people to eat the food which makes them fat. Spoons are actually alot more innocent too, unless you were to shove it down your throat. But I think I get your point and your question.

I agree! I have a snub nose .38 on the night stand next to my bed, fully loaded, been keeping it there for years. Guess what....it has never once gone out and committed a crime while I was away from home!
Also have 3 vehicles out in the drive way, once in awhile forget and leave the keys in, and not once has it started up by itself and driven down the road and killed someone.
Gun control is about more that proper aiming, its responsibility, that trigger won't pull itself, takes a human to do it!
And before all you whiners start about "a child could find your gun on the night stand". My kids are all grown and don't live with me anymore, and if someone else's kids gets hold of my gun, WHAT WAS THE LITTLE HEATHEN DOING IN MY HOUSE?

Ain't no thing wrong with the "GUN". There are just some beautiful pieces made. It is not the gun that "cause crime."
And fat is good, need it, and I don't think a spoon is needed to get fat. Nothing wrong with fat. A free ask to only You - What do you think of the following? :> FAT IS GOOD, OBESE IS BAD. SLIM IS GOOD, ANOREXIA IS BAD.

Eliminate cars and all the problems go away. Oh yeah, that's what the Democrats want, Free Medical, only cops and criminals armed and you and me riding 3 hours on a bus to get to work.

Terrible analogy...for when guns are elminated no one can argue that murders will be reduced....obviously murder will not be eliminated because there are other ways to kill...but it will be hard to kill 33 people on a college campus with a knife.

But if you eliminate spoons I can still eat with my hands or a fork...and the foods you each with a spoon rarely make you fat.
