If i don't show up in bankruptcy court,how much trouble am i in?

if i'm being sued for owing money,by a collection agency,in bankruptcy court and i don't show up,what will happen?will i get a judgement summary and if i do,what exactly is it?

They will default judgement to the collection agency if you don't even bother to show up. You really should at least show up. It's not that bad, and the judge usually will figure out a good solution for you.

Summary judgment is a legal term which means that a court has made a determination (a judgment) without a full trial. That means that they can award the collection agency the full amount without you being there. In addition, the judge may decide to find you in contempt for your no-show, which could include a fine and/or time in jail.
