my ex is a firefighter and i currently don't have a job but we live with my fiancee and he is getting unemployment does anyone know what will happen?

Its not going to look good that both of you do not have employment. You are up against his biological father who has a job and can prove to the court that he can financially provide for the child, and you can not. But he is up against the biological mother, and unless you have a criminal history (drugs/violence etc), then it is pretty hard to lose custody of your child. You may be granted 50/50 custody with the father, but you should not loose your rights to custody for simply not having a job.
