i understand where you are coming from and agree to a certain extent i have tried cannabis when i was younger and it made me very paranoid so don't think i would smoke it

Alcohol is legal and I don't drink it. Cigarettes are legal and I don't smoke them. So probably not.........

I smoked weed for over 20 years, but not in the last 10 years. If I knew then what I know now, I would not use any drug legal or not.

You sound a little misinformed.
Alcohol causes mental illness not cannabis. The are many things that are legal that are much more dangerous than cannabis.

i dont think i would though most think i do because of the way i look (a stereo typical hippy ie long hair flared jeans trapper jacket)

i gave up cannabis 3 years ago (after being hooked for 12years)
so i guess you could say i,ve been on both sides of the fence ..i would rather be the way i am now ...drug free and thinking my own thoughts and paranoid free with a life that dont involve getting stoned ...trust me drugs screw you up good ...and as for cannabis being more peaceful and nonviolent well im sorry. ive seen folks lose it real good on smoke its just a matter of time

No but I think a lot of people who do respect the law would be persuaded to try it.I cant believe people are saying it is non violent when a man was sent to prison for life this week for deliberately killing a pedal cyclist whilst under the influence of canabis.

Legalizing cannabis wont get rid of violence. Many people dont like the effects of cannabis and some counries have legalized it and found no effect on violence between gangs and in bars etc.

I personaly dont see why it is illegal but am not bothered either way.
