Can I apply for one here in Idaho? Or will they know that?
I have a huge dilema. I am supposed to move back to oregon at the beginning of June and have to drive from Idaho to Oregon. I need to pay my fines to reinstate my license but I do not know how long it takes to process the payment and release the hold that Oregon has on my driving privelages. I am really nervous about driving that far without a license. I know I shouldn't be driving at all but I don't know what else to do. I have never gone through this before.
So, will the Idaho DMV know that my license was suspended in Oregon?

They will probably check, but you never know. However, if they don't check, and you get a license, you may be subject to perjury charges, because they WILL ask you where you held a license and if you are under suspension or revocation.
You should contact Oregon and find out what you need to do. You should not have to return there to fix your issue, and I'm sure that, as soon as your fines are paid they will release your suspension, making you legally eligible to hold a license in Idaho. |

They will know. Most states (including Idaho) are members of the Drivers License Compact or other agreement, and communicate with each other. |
