Hi,
The person who attacked you is guilty of the assault and the person who told him to do it is guilty of conspiracy to comission a crime.
Both get prosecuted but the conspiracy charge will be more difficult to prove.
Hope this helps
Good luck |

If there is proof that this person was involved, then yes, because he instigated the crime, it's like someone hiring an assasin, they are guilty. |
|

James
 |
yes they can be but it will be hard to prove it unless the hired goon admits it. |
|

.
 |
They will both be charged - have absolutely no fear of that.
Really hope it doesn't come to it mattering. |

both of them can, go and speak to the police, let them know your concerns, if you are that worried go and see a lawyer, in the UK first 20 minutes are free, see what they say, get a restraining order, make sure you always go out with someone, never on your own, keep safe, all the best |

Oooo- are you in hot water again young man?
Technically, you would have to prove to the court that this person who came and beat you up was hired by this other person .
To avoid getting hurt, which is the most important thing (be proactive !). I imagine you have to yell to anybody who looks like he will beat you up "Wait ! dont beat me up, I will double the price he paid you. Do we have a deal?" or " Wait, dont beat me up, I will double the price he paid you for you to beat him up !"
Sigh. or just stop whatever it is that you are doing that the other guy is getting mad at you for. Hire a bodyguard maybe? |
|

you can get them both but you will have to have proofe. otherwise you will probably make the situation a whole lot worse in the long run. |

BOTH -- incidentally the law means whatever lawyers want it to mean |
|

Robbo31
 |
Of course both will be prosecuted.....take the case of a contract killing....clearly the payer for the service is also deemed guilty in it...
It is very true that proof is another thing.......and without the goon being caught and confessing then what chance of a link do you have....
I'd go and keep low for a while.....or let the police know now your concerns and make the person you think is arranging this know that the police have already been told yopur suspicions.... |

Both will be prosecuted.
A criminal act has two parts.
The Actus Rea and the Mens Rea (legal Latin phrases)
The actus Rea is the guilt act, actually committing the crime (the attacker).
The Mens Rea is the guilty mind, so it the thought about the crime (the person who engaged the attacker).
Hope this helps. |

Both will be peosecuted. If you're really worried go to your local police station and tell them your fears are real and ask what to do if it does happen. |
