Yes you have all the rights to to get them taken off. But why bother if you know the persons posting those pics, and if it's in good faith why it's there? Unless it's something provocative and you don't know the ones posting or they using it for something illegal and malicious. But by any means, it's you or your child, you have the right to decide what's better for your family.

I would assume this varies by state, but in Canada you do not need a consent to take someone's picture in public

You can always start by asking the webmaster to pull them by letting them know they are not there with your permission..

One would think, but the law has yet to catch up to technology. Once something is on the internet, its there for good. You can never really get rid of something once it hits the internet.

Yes by law they need to ask your permission to take pictures. Particularly if they are of a child.
