My friends dad tonight holded me by the arm. I tried to run but he just grab me and held me down for no apparent reason. I don't want to go into details but Im just wondering is it illegal for somebody to touch and hold you down? I was trying to escape and I did! I know where he lives.

Physical assault. The cops won't do anything about it.

It is illegal for a person to prevent you from leaving. "False Imprisonment" is the term they use for this. I would definitely report this to the police and then call child protective services if the police don't do it for you.

Holding someone against their will is called kidnapping but it really does not sound like that is what happened in your case.
