If something has my address on it is it legally mine?

if my boyfriend had something sent to my house with my address.. but it has his name on it.. is it legally mine because it has my address?

No, its his, but maybe he shouldn't have sent it there.
You could legally have it sent back the the sender.

No, it is the property of the person who's name is on it.

Where in your brain did you assume that just because your address is on it it's yours?
If you open mail NOT addressed to you it is mail fraud and you can be arrested.

No if it has his name on it it is his. Unless it say or current resident after his name. Then it is whoever lives there.
