Take my loved ones into a bomb shelter and guard the door with dogs and a shotgun. |

Stay home and avoid everyone devoid of morals or ethics.
Just because something isn't illegal doesn't mean it isn't immoral or unethical. You still have to face yourself in the mirror. |

Look at what happened in New Orleans after Katrina and before the flood. Thievery all over. Look at what happened in Detroit and Los Angeles after their riots, thievery and more thievery. |

for the most part, life would go on as usual because people are inherently good. there is a natural sense of right and wrong, and the majority of society finds it easier to do the right thing. to some extent some areas (urban) which have different norms and mores, an increase in "crime" might be noticed, but it's already there.
remember, a criminal will be a criminal before that day and after that day. the amount of good people who take advantage of an opportunity would be minimal. good people would realize that taking advantage of an "opportunity" would mean taking advantage of their neighbor, and by nature, most people have a problem with that. |

Interesting question. I think that approx. one third of the people would continue to obey the current laws. One third of the people would break laws that in some small ways that they feel would benefit them in moderate ways. One third of the people would just go wild. It would be Super Market Sweep for them. Yea Ha! |

I dont have a gun but killing the person who set up that day is an idea.
I suspect the banks etc would weld their doors shut that day. |

Everyone would be advised to hide, say their prayers and hope they escape the chaos & mayhem of the entire world in a state of anarchy. Also because there'd be a race to push the big red panic button that makes those pretty thermonuclear mushroom clouds. That's not to mention 3 billion people in line waiting for a chance at revenge against Microsoft & BIlly Boy Gates |

Arm myself and stay in my home. I'd arm my kids as well.
Plenty of losers out there willing to attempt to take what isn't theirs. I'd end them if given the chance. |

Since the basis of virtually all the "core" laws in existence is to cause no harm to others--not hurting or killing anybody, not taking their property or kids, not blaring music near their bedroom--I'd probably spend the day pretty much like any other. |

i would go to my local TA centre, borrow weapons, arm my mates, and challenge any idiot who wants to do anything that would break the laws of yesterday, proving that armed and well trained peope can cut crime down (by cutting the criminals down).
PS i would park any where i like.
also i the UK's current state, i think the students (and rightly so) would revolt and take over the goverment, which in many ways might be a good and entertaining thing to see. |
