funny you ask that, doctors are at both procedures...one to make sure WE don't hurt the individual... the other one to make sure They do !!! it's a concept i haven't caught on to yet.

Most people have no clue what a partial abortion is.
The argument about saving a mothers life doesn't fly with me. I am a nurse and this is how they do a partial birth abortion.

So-called "Partial-birth" abortion is performed in the second and third trimesters and entails
(1) inducing a breech delivery with forceps,
(2) delivering the legs, arms and torso only,
(3) puncturing the back of the skull with scissors or a trochar,
(4) inserting a suction curette into the skull,
(4a) suctioning the contents of the skull so as to collapse it,
(5) completing the delivery. A partial breech delivery is not considered a "birth" at common law, where it is the passage of the head that is essential.

If they can deliver the legs , arms and torso without killing a mother , then they can deliver the head too .

First, to correct another persons answer, they are NOT aborting an embryo in partial birth abortions. It's a full term baby, or nearly there. The mother births all but the head. Look it up. Secondly, a baby has a heartbeat at what, 3 weeks? I will never understand how something with a heartbeat isn't considered a living being.

Anyway, liberals could care less about an entity who can't vote or add a voice and face to their agendas. Suspected terrorists are obviously the better choice in a saved life. *cough* Those terrorists and their groups would never DREAM of torturing an innocent person themselves.

Those who have abortions, and those who perform abortions, all deny that the unborn baby has feelings. These people need to watch ultrasounds of unborn babies being aborted. It is not a pretty sight. One can plainly see the baby trying to desperately get away from the suction, or the sharp instruments. As I can see, the left answers with the whole "Not a person" propaganda. Partial birth abortion is murderous. Most if not all obstetricians are against this particular form of abortion. Partial Birth Abortion is also dangerous to the mother, she could just have a c-section at this point and give the child up for adoption, but no, the far left brain washes many into killing the child.

Water Boarding as we all know is torture, It causes gag reflex of the one being tortured to feel that he is dying by drowning no one has ever lasted more that two and one half minutes while being subjected to this horrible torture. This is not a choice made by the one who is subjected to this torture.

Partial Birth Abortion is a choice made by the woman, albeit the most horrible thing that I can think of. It is not legal and cannot be done unless the fetus is deceased. The Supreme Court ruled it illegal which was upheld in the case of Gonazles v Carhart.

The answer is Water Boarding involves an unwilling participant and Partial Birth Abortion involves a willing participant.
