Obvioulsy beacause it was working and why do something different when you are already getting good info from what you are doing. |

It doesn't work because the victim tells the story he thinks the criminal wants to hear, not the one he knows is true. So the interrogators got information, just not true info.
So the interrogators got their false confession or whatever, and thought it did work. |

Waterboarding is torture and torture doesn't work. It has been proven over and over again. The fact that it was used 266 times on prisoners doesn't mean that it worked and that it gave any information. |

I'd like to know what information they got that they feel justified it.
Where is Osama Bin Laden? When's the next 9/11 type attack? |

If it worked so great we would not have had to use it 266 times on two prisoners. They used it so many times for exactly the opposite reason, it did not work.* |

If it was working then why 266 times? use some sommon sense will ya. Torture is inhumane and immoral. That doesnt change because the US does it in it's interst. |

I don't know about it not working. It seemed to work just fine on Sheik Mohammed. |

Heyy, it was probably because it was the only humane way of torturing someone and by humane i mean without leaving scars or bruises |

torture works in the movies and on TV so of course Baby Bush thought it would work , besides it's kinda funny to watch! |

According to this article it did work. Personally I don't have any sympathy for a guy who chops someone's head off. As far as I am concerned, they could have waterboarded him just to punish him for beheading an innocent man. |

well because water boarding is usually effective and eventually the prisoner will get tired of it and will answer it... and well, water boarding is more of an intimidation technique i'd say rather than torture lol... they could get other ones, but i think it's just easier for them to stick with water boarding... |
