I would only call the police if the person was causing problems that are illegal. Otherwise, I have great repect for our immigrants, they braved a lot to come here. |

Hell yes. A nice criminal is still a criminal. I'd even tell Immigration where she and I would be going out for dinner, so they could make the bust right after the salad. |

Local police often don't enforce Immigration Law because it's not a penal code. Some departments still refer the call to Immigration. Many don't because the fact that undocumented aliens will hide from authority often allows crime to fester. They won't report crimes that happen to them if they believe they will be turned over to Immigration afterwards.
If you feel the need to report this guy's existence to someone, then you would be calling INS, or whatever it calls itself these days. |
