Judge Judy is fun to watch, however I do not think I could have her be my judge...I do not have the patience or willpower to keep my mouth shut if or when I am under attack...
So I will take Judge Joe Brown....at least he smiles and is mellow.. |

I think I would prefer to go before a real judge.
Both Judy and Joe are retired judges with no legal authority. They are acting as mediators based upon a signed agreement by both parties to have their cases mediated. If myself and the other party agreed to have our case mediated by Britney Spears, she would have all the same legal authority that Joe and Judy have, but it doesn't mean she would understand or apply the legal principles of my state. |
