Immigration: Are Dems suicidal enough to run on a platform that includes non-enforcement of immigration law?

The AZ immigration issue presents the clearest evidence of the priority of the Dem agenda (as insane as it is) over the preservation of the best interests of this country and its taxpaying citizens. I have not heard any Dem present a sound argument against the AZ law. All they say is "profiling," as if that were a dirty word. I guess they believe that if an illegal alien makes it into this country, they are protected as if they were a U.S. citizen. Absolutely ludicrous. If you are a law enforcement officer and you do not "profile," you are unfit to serve in your position. The basis of good detective work is profiling your suspects. Anyone who believes differently knows NOTHING about law enforcement.
Amazing how Dems do not seem to mind "random" searches of individuals at the airport, but asking someone for their ID in AZ somehow qualifies as a human rights violation. Reality is truly more bizarre than fiction. Misguided and purely "politically correct" policies are why old white grandmothers are being searched at U.S. airports. The Israelis would never employ such an obviously flawed system that serves the politically correct, while clearly ignoring common sense and the preservation of U.S. security.
The Dems are digging their own graves deeper by the day.

The border states are all likely to vote Republican/conservative. Even a large number of Hispanic legal citizens are in favor of upholding immigration laws. Ignoring the crime caused by the Mexican drug cartel is the most damning issue to me. All they focus on is race and race is not the issue. Crime is the issue. Safety of the citizens and even the illegals. It is even less safe for the illegals here who seem to be the most frequent victims of these crimes. How do the Democrats base their reasoning on human rights while these people are meeting some pretty horrible fates? |

Actually, no, it's rather smart. It won't be too long before the combined Black and Hispanic population of the US is greater than the total white population.
People come in as illegals, they have a gazillion kids who are granted automatic citizenship because they are born on US soil. Some of the parents are allowed to stay, and all of the kids are allowed to vote when they are older because they are citizens.
Who do you think think all of these children and grandchildren will vote for?
Here's a clue, in 20 years time there will be a lot of Hispanics who remember that the Democrats allowed their parents to stay, and the Republicans wanted to deport them. |

If digging our graves means supporting a ridiculous over-reaction by a panicked white population, fine. I'll dig that grave and be moral at the end of the day.
However, think about this, which law is more important to enforce for local police: domestic violence or federal immigration law? That's my question. Now, women who are beaten and here illegally will not call or notify the police for fear of this new law being used to detain them (possibly indefinately, if you read the law there is no need to charge people or bring them in front of a judge...my liberarian nerves twitch at this). And so the result is that law and order is being broken down by the Arizona law.
So, will I vote for someone who says the Arizona law is idiotic and actually creates more lawlessness in communities. Yes, because they are right. |
