In the UK, how long does a suspended possession order remain valid for?

Hi all. Im an assured tenant with a housing association. My landlord took me to court in 2003 due to my rent arrears, with the intention of getting a warrant for eviction. The court ordered that I had to pay back £3 a week and I could keep my home. In August 2004 due to work problems I fell behind with my repayments and they took me back to court. This time the court granted a warrant and a suspended possession order, but I was yet again allowed to remain in the property providing I pay the arrears. Since then, the payments have never been missed for 5 years. I am now in a position to be able to pay the rest off in one go, but I'm wondering if the court order is still valid? And if so how long does it remain so? Is it valid after paying off the debt still? I would like to apply for a transfer to move home, but the landlords guidelines say that can't happen if there's a possession order on the property. Sorry for blabbering on, please help!
