As tobacco undoubedly kills people, has any government or jurisdiction in the world yet taken the sensible make to make its sale illegal?

The question is not a 'smoker basher' one. Surely in the future the sale of any poison to be consumed and funded by country's taxpayers will be illegal everywhere. Some countries have no legislation against smoking whatsoever. These countries include Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, and many other countries in Central and Western Africa, where people can smoke wherever they want. Cyprus is another notable country where smoking is not banned in public.
The subject is still based on tax revenue - not the health of a nation's people. Future historians will laugh at us.

It has not killed me yet, but a few of my young fat friends who were non-smokers died already, the food killed them. There is no such country. The government likes us smokers. LOL
