can volunteer fireman in wisconsin have sirens on there own vihicle i know they have to have blue lights but what can they have?

Blue lights are unlawful unless you are law enforcement in Wisconsin. With written permission, you may install a siren and red lights. Permission must be from your fire chief.

You also must notify your insurance company and notify them that your car is now an emergency vehicle and pay a greatly increased insurance rate. You do not have to do this if you do not install the lights and siren.
