Is a bar owner or bar tender liable for my injuries suffered when a cheap table i was dancing on broke??

The following people are liable to you for your injuries:

The owner of the bar
The manager of the bar
The bouncer for know you could get hurt
The bartender for serving you knowing you would be table dancing
The manufacturer of the table
The company that owned the forest from which the tree was cut that made that wood that went into the table
Every person who got a stiffy watching you
The DJ, his posse and his mother (for knowing he would try to phuck up your life)
Me, for giving you advice on who to sue, in the event you lose

Probably the owner of the bar is liable. But are you seriously going to make someone else pay for your stupidity? Why not take responsibility for your actions?

Not sure if there are laws to protect bar patrons but I know there are bars to protect us from you. They are on cells. It's hard to blame stupidity on someone else.

its always the barmaids fault, u poor thing, I hope you arent hurt too badly,,, I know how those bartenders twist peoples arms and overserve them. Why there would be no other reason you would be dancing on that cheap table had u not been overserved, as far as the DJ,,,,,,his own fault,,, he had to see you getting angered over his crappy music, You are a paying patron, he is an employee,,,,,,, the smack was his fault, Id hire a lawyer!

I assume that since you do not state that you were drunk, that you were not. This is was a mistake, because if you were drunk, then they should not have continued serving you, and the bar might be liable for your damages. You could then sue them for your damages, such as a bad back, soft tissue damage, etc. Use this as a learning experience. The next time you go to a bar:

1. Take a friend to secretly videotape you getting served way past when the bar should have stopped (for future court use).

2. When you are roaring drunk, only then dance on the table and get "hurt."

why in the hell were you dancing on a table and who in the hell asked you to!?!......bartenders can be liable for overserving you if you get into an accident when you leave the bar....yes they can bar you for slapping a dj for your not liking his music (remember you are not the only patron) and HE can press charges on you for it......there are laws that protect bar patrons (loyal or not) but if you are drunk you will be hard pressed to pursue any action because your testimony will be hazy

Yes. Tables should be clearly marked with a warning label to avoid these kinds of injuries. You should also sue if you injured your hand or wrist slapping the DJ, since playing terrible music is asking for a good smack. Good joke. I hope you got the responses you were looking for.
