Is a buisness allowed to ban you from their property in order to avoid a refund?

For example if I purchase something and would like to return this item (within the 14 days specified in the return policy), would they be allowed to ban me from entering the store as a way to avoid honoring the return policy/contract?

They could call the police and have you arrested for trespassing.

Have another person take it back with the sales receipt or file a claim against them in Small Claims Court.
