yes there is totally offensive comments on here, that arent removed, yet l have had a couple of my comments removed from here because they werent proper answers, go figure!!!!!, who ever has this job needs to pass it on to me!!, so l dont know its never going to be censored properly so l guess we have to just delete them if we find them offensive

i hate when people take there anger out on other people. thats truly sad. dont u think it is ? i had a question about missing my bf who i havnt seen for 4 months and is in rome studying for another year or more and this girl is like im tired of these snots going and saying i miss my bf and you probably saw him yesterday. and yeah she is soo wrong. i hate when people that are bored and sad with there lives go and judge other people like there head ***** and know everything when they clearly dont.

I believe that Y!A should atleast add a delete button, or better yet have you approve answers before they are posted, I mean if someone was going to trash my house, then i would like them to have my permission to do so first.

Im afraid so. Too many rude and useless answers. Its terrible. If someone has freedom of speech, then we should have freedom to delete garbage on our questions.

I'd go with the theory that it's a public forum; in exchange for the occasional nugget, you'll sift thru a lot of silt.

I think the problem is Yahoo. I asked a question "Is anyone going to the tea party?" and it was deleted. I appealed and and my appeal was denied. No one there reads the questions or answers or appeals. So any one can have a question or answer deleted by some idiot and Yahoo doesn't give a darn.

this is a website and isn't made to be taken by heart. the purpose of asking questions to many people is to gather group opinions and then decide yourself what is best for you.

Would you rather we didn't have freedom of speech?? Personally I am looking for a wide variety of answers and opinions when I ask a question on here. Not just people who agree with me- what would be the point? You can thumbs down me if you like- it really doesn't bother me!

You make no sense. You are on a public forum asking questions, what do you expect? Do you need a censor to protect your feelings? If you're that sensitive then you should choose a more private forum for your questions.

It's kind of different though. It is general knowledge that if you post a question that can get a negative comment, then someone will bring it up, if the person cannot take it, they shouldnt post the question. However, a house, you pay for things and it is basically against the law to trash someones house. Plus you would (hopefully) only let ppl u know in your house, and you would trust them to not trash it.

This is a public site open to anyone to say whatever they please as long as it's with-in the website rules. They can answer the question however they want. If you have a problem with the kind of answers you recieve perhaps you should get off this site. Most of the users are children so what do you expect. This isn't your house. It's not private property and neither are your questions.

Hey, man, don't get spicy just because you asked a question and someone told you the hard, brutal truth about something stupid like your overweight girlfriend, that doesn't mean you have to bash the people who answer yahoo answers questions.
