Is going in public without a shirt indecent exposeur?

alisongiggles
Not in Canada. Even we ladies can keep our cool topless in public, if we so choose.

Not many do yet, but the times they are a changin'

It depends on the laws in your locality. (Generally, it's always a violation if it's a woman; not necessarily a violation for men or small children.)

Nicki
A man no , but a lady yes. unless you are in a nudist colony,
they all walk around buck naked. I don't see how any married couple could agree to something that vulgar, then state they love each other more by doing this deed..

Send me a picture and I'll let you know.

Amanda Overmeyer-Janis of today!
I went streaking once...it was a political statement(Ok, I was drunk, and my friend didn't stop me) I now protest in tie-dye and flower pants.

not for men, for women it depends on local and state laws. I believe NY decriminalized the act for women but it is still cultural taboo and they don't do it.

Only if you look bad without it

Neptune2bsure
Depends on whether your body is decent.

Discrimination? I don't think so, saving eyesight is the way I see it. Just in good fun. Have a nice day

In most parts of the USA it is, if you're a female and you're w/o a bra.

It depends on where you are.

Restaurants and public places along those lines obviously require a shirt. I think its rude to be shirtless in family settings like restaurants and hotels. It shows an extreme lack of sophistication.

However, if your in recreation like the beach or water park nobody is going to care.

Yes. Because it can provoke some weak people to get you, and abuse you. Yesterday's indecent exposeur might become acceptable in today's standard. Look at the exposure decades ago, and now. Wait until people are educated, and uneducated or intolerant old generation die. It is a matter of time and generation. Eventually, what you wear, eat, and how you move will hardly matter to a person who does not know you. You sure don't want to spray scents, and be followed like .... .

philip
yes

Richard P
That would be yes, if you are a female that is. in some States there is a limit by age, usually four or five years old for females. This is a state to state issue! In My State(MA) public Areas, yes! Remember just because one gets arrested, does not mean it is illegal. States and the Federal Government have their own definitions to what is public exposure or lewdness is. Some of these definitions are straight forward. Some are subjective in nature. Further there is Judicial precedence to think of also. So the question is not as easy as it seems. Would have to know what state you live in. Generally I would say yes!
Peace!!! Love!!! Harmony!!! Health!!!

Depending on the laws in your area. It is, however, in very bad taste.

it depends on the laws where you live and if you're male or female. usually it isn't indecent exposure if you're a guy.

ladyusc229
Yeahh if your breast are hanging out.. but if you're a guy then you'd have to walk around with no pants on for that.

Balthazar
No, just inconsiderate or impolite...unless you are a construction type worker working in the hot sun. If it's hot and it's your job it is quite acceptable or understandable.

depends, male or female?

Taygurl27
In a girl's opinion, it really depends on where you are. If you are on a beach, working out, or riding your bike, shirtless is okay. But in a public setting such as a restaurant, being shirtless could be considered indecent exposure, so if you use your common sense and think about the setting you are going to be in, it is easier to determine what is and isn't appropriate.

elisayn
Not that I know of, but it is very crude to go out without a shirt on and shows no class.
Wear a shirt, and show you know the rules of ettiquette.....bettyk

bruce b
On the contrary, if you are a gorgeous male then it is an art form...so drop that shirt and go public.
