There is more than a single issue here and your local laws and rules would have to be consulted.
One is the taking of the photograph without you knowing. Typically this is legal if you are in a public place, but much depends upon other rules (perhaps if the photo was taken in school or a rest room).
Posting the picture around school (with or without comments) may be against school regulations. You need to investigate this. If you do not have access to a copy of the Student Handbook, then go to the school administrative office and ask.
Document the public postings with photographs of your own. This might be valuable evidence in your favor later.
Only when you have the above information, should you take this any further. If this problem student has posted derogatory comments or false statements about you, this might be both illegal and unethical. You might want to start by complaining to a school administrator (principal or vice principal) first to have the photos removed or permission to remove the postings yourself.
Depending upon the results at the school, you may want to take legal action against the student or the school or both. This will require a lawyer who knows your local laws.
This would be considered a libel case. Slander is also possible if you can document that the student has said derogatory comments or false statements about you. |

No, it is not illegal. If you were in a place where privacy is expected (bathroom, changing room, etc) when the picture was taken, you might have a case. |

This is correct. It's pretty much the same thing as Recording your Phone Conversation without your Permission. Many Hurtful things can happen in cases like this like Kidnapping and so on so yes you can get into trouble doing this type of thing. How much trouble all depends on your Local Laws. |

Of course not. Might be against school rules. In the real world, we ignore these kinds of things. |

That could be considered libel (defamation by written or printed words, pictures, or in any form other than by spoken words or gestures.) which is against the law. |

In the UK, the actuall taking of the photo and posting it up would be perfectly legal providing the photo was taken in a public place, ie:: not your home. However the nasty comments could constitute slander which is illegal. |

If you had a reasonable right to expect privacy, then taking the picture would be illegal. If you're walking down a public street, then anybody can take your picture. |

It is a privacy issue. Go to your principal now. She is a bully and a fricking terrorist. |
