if your 18 and you have a relationship with your teacher? I'm not having one i was just curious how does everyone feel about student- teacher relationships? personally, i don't understand how the develop because there is always a barrier between student and teacher.

Well, in the UK it is not against the law. However, there are rules and guidelines for teachers that expect a professional approach to relationships.
Teachers have expressed love for a student and felt obliged to give up their teaching post. Life throws up these anomalies occasionally. |

Yes it is illegal, Because teachers are forbidden from having relationships with students that are currently enrolled in the school system. The teacher knows this and will be risking there license to teach. |

If you're both consenting adults, then no laws are being broken. However, If you are a student in the same school that the teacher works in, then the school authorities have plenty to say. Sometimes is against school policy, or school board policy. And Just looked at and thought about in very negative terms. The teacher could easily loose their job. |

Once you are eighteen, it is perfectly legal. However, there may be a morality clause in the teacher's contract that can get him/her fired for doing so. |
