it is legal, but also it's their store, they can do that if they want
you can sue them, but you won't win |

it will be retarded for you to do so.
that is girls clothes that you are trying on. calm down. they just find it fishy that a guy is trying on lingerie |

Well, I don't know if it is illegal but you do have to face it, lingerie is made for women and not for men. Plus Victoria's Secret is a girly store and it would be just plain out weird to go in and try on a bra or panties, knowing that a guy had just tried them on. |

Don

it isn't illegal but someone probably complained that a man was wearing womens clothes |

That may be the creepies thing i've ever heard but man, you have a point. i think you have a legit lawsuit as long as its not illegal what you did, which i dont see why it would be....as creepy as it is.... |

dude, that's just weird...
even if you did want to sue them, they're a multimillion dollar company and they'll get a shark lawyer who'll kick your @ss in court. |

1. You are lying.
2. Most Private discrimination is not unlawful.
3. That private store can exclude people who do not comply with their rules, just as you can exclude people from your home who act contrary to your wishes. |

Well, if it's not illegal, it should be. Lingerie from Victoria's Secret is not made for men. |

i don't think you should. i went to a hairdresser one time and my dad came in to tell me something and they asked him to leave. These kinds of women-like stores don't like outside men to come in. |

I am a girl, and if I saw you in Victoria's secret, unless if you were with another female, that would be freaking weird.. I am sorry but that is just creepy.. I don't think it's illegal... but i am sure that a lot of women complained, and security had no other choice |

this may be a joke....but oddly enough my old girlfriend managed a lingerie store....and depending on the state, you MAY indeed have grounds for a discrimination suit...
...the store where she worked was "high end" and her company had strict rules that men could not be refused service if they wanted to try on women's lingerie....in fact, they had to be as helpful (including going into the fitting rooms to give advice) as they would to any female customer....
...such is the modern world in which we live.... |

That's interesting. You'd have to speak to an attorney. I think it would be an interesting case. |

If your into that freaky deaky stuff buy it and take it home. If its lace you like go buy a couple of yards at the fabric store. But please stay OUT of Victoria's Secret its woman's lingerie Hints not for dudes. |

well it is pretty creepy for a guy to be trying on women's lingerie .. correction VERY creepy. why would you want to wear that anyway? YOU'RE NOT A WOMAN! it was probably a good thing to kick you out. other women try on that lingerie and what if you got *** on the underwear? THEY COULD GET PREGNANT BECAUSE YOU JUST 'love the lace!'
dont do it anymore. if you really want some, get it online! |
|

You might have a case! Speak with a lawyer about this, but I doubt there is any law out there that would prevent a man from trying on those types of garments! |

I dont know about winning a law suit, but I dot think they should have kicked you out.. I mean, to each their own.. no one would stop a woman from trying on boxers..
Good luck! |
