yes it is... buying and selling pirated cd's are prohibited... even if it's through the internet.. the seller and the buyer will both fall in jail..

It is illegal to be in posession of any pirated software, movies, music etc. You will only be charged if caught. If you're are stressed about it, the only way to be sure would be to hand the product in to the police explaining where you got it from. If you return it to the seller you will just look naive.

not only illegal-but dangerous as well.

these people use inferior DVD's on which to burn their games-some of which have been known to shatter inside the games console.

when this happens a variety of damage can occur-and because it is a pirated game ie: unlicenced it had no business being in the console in the first place then your warranty goes up the coot.

not worth the risk if you ask me.

Yes it's illegal and the only way out of it would be if you could prove you didn't know they were illegal.

It is illegal to buy software you know to be pirated. If you return it due to you're not knowing it was pirated, you won't get in trouble, though, as you can claim you didn't know it was pirated.

yes its illegal. but everyone buys them anyway.. just say you didnt realise. and i dont think a person selling pirated movies would take the movie back..
