tbh this does not surprise me now, i am in my 40s my daughter in her early- mid twentys.
But if i were to want to buy alcohol and she were with me, I can not buy it if she has no proof of her age on her.
We don't drink anyway, but Sainsburys said this is the law, we discovered this in December when someone else was not served! |

the police can't tell you to pour away your drink on your own property, but they can in certain town centres where they have no drinking policies. |

In UK it's legal. You can also take a child into a place where they sell alcohol and purchase it for their consumption, as long as it isn't or they are not sat in a bar. Tell Original if you CAN'T drink NUFFIN then you can drink something |
