Is it illegal to have a lemonade stand off of your property?

My kids want to sell lemonade for a good cause to buy trees but we live on a caldersake( I think I spelt it wrong) and their is no one who would come.

It is illegal to sell on public property with out a permit. I seriously doubt that any would cause a stink about it. Just don't set up by any local business as they may call the police on you and make sure that you have an easy to read sign showing what the money is for. Then the police will likely not bother you unless some one complains. Then they would probably just run them off.

If it is public property your kids could sell it there, for example the park. I hope your kids have a nice time and they're doing it for good cause too.

If it's for a charity and you have the land owner's permission it's completely legal.
