I had one, too! It was a pretty plant I found growing (unplanted) in the garden, so I transferred it to a large pot and fed and watered it till it was eight feet high. Then my daughter came visiting me and confiscated it!
Think it probably came from wild bird seed; it didn't look anything like a tomato plant - had compound palmate leaves rather like a very delicate chestnut leaf.
Us pre-war Grannies just can't be trusted ! |

It is not only illegal to own (possession) but if you are growing one, they may try to get you for cultivation with intent to supply |

Yes... as it is also illegal to feed water or harvest one... even unwittingly. Interestingly or not as the case may be, you may have the seeds but you can not plant them (whats the point in that then?)
Even if a cannabis plant was in a police store room ready for an exhibit at court, if you watered it so that it was 'fresh for court' or you were sustaining its life, even the police would commit the offence! |
