Well I certainly wouldnt hire an 11 yr old lawyer! |

An 11 year old would not be a good lawyer, most judges don't accept putting your hands over your ears and screaming "LALALALALALA I CAN'T HEAR YOU" as a valid argument. |

i am being punk'd? this question is dumb obviliously you cant. |

sellofain
Yes, it's a retarded question. |

Jonathan
you cant be a laywyer at 11 its immposible like 10 years college and stufff onn top of that you have to complete grade school |

Dani

You wont be 11 by the time you finish all the schooling that's required to become a lawyer. So if you're interested, start reading law books now so that when you graduate high school, you can breeze right through law school.
I don't know why everyone is getting so irritated by this question.. I think it's kind of cute. |

tonalc2
No, in order to take the bar exam you have to be 18. |

Nikole.
well sure if they've been going to law school since they were five.
dumb question. |

Been there. Almost Done that.
To be a lawyer you have to go through law school, to go to law school you have to finish high school, and if your 11 and able to go through law school then you don't have to work because you'll be the smartest kid ever. Is it legal, yes, is it possible, no. And besides who would hire an 11 year old? |

JustChillin
sorry kiddo a degree is required |

You have to go to college. The child may be good at fighting but does he/she know their stuff? I bet not. |

Sunshine
No, I don't believe so. You would have to finish high school, college, law school and pass the bar examination before you could legally get a license to practice law in the United States -- not sure about other countries. I don't believe it would be possible to do all that by the time you are 11 years old. |

FallingUnderWeakly
wow.
um,i don't think its legal in the us.
you have to go to college for
atleast two years. |

hippopotamus'es r cool

Girly
nope it's not legal and YOU KNOW THAT. |

Trinity Trip
No , but a judge might let an 11 year old represent themself. |

Darren
it's obviously going to make someone mad and break some child labor law and no one would hire her/him anyway.
"I need a lawyer"
"there's that nice timmy from down the street"
"but he's only eleven"
"oh yeah...may as well get hauled off to jail right now" |

tonytroese
you have to pass the bar exam, which requires that a person graduate law school, which requires you to have a college degree, which requires you to have a high school diploma, which requires you to have finished middle school. So the answer is....
NO |

Patchoman
no, no offense but that is a really stupid question! |

meimeisjasmine
NO you are supposed to go to law school which requires college and high school and middle school |

so_chaotic_*****
lol
can he read the whole legalization from the big book with out not understanding?
if not he cant do it.
lets see how many kids know big words and that age..NONE! |

~*Sweet Pea*~
What? That 11 year old would have to go to law school first! |

The Scorpion
Not specifically, I mean it's probably not written into the law, but they wouldn't be able to enter into a business contract legally with a customer and couldn't be hired by a company because of their age. |

Jordan
Well, I know from experience (I am in law school) that in order to be a "lawyer" you need to have a degree, pass the LSAT (Law School Admission Test), get into a law school, get your Juris Doctorate or equiv. (J.D.), and pass a bar exam for the jurisdiction in which you wish to practice law.
If an 11 year old can do all of that, I'd be impressed. :) |

Steven S
no you need a law degree to practice law |

Jodie G
are you having a laugh!!!!!!!!!!
an 11 year old would be capable of spelling lawyer let alone being one!!!
hahahaha
this made me laugh
i definatly think im being punk'd |

PJ
I suppose if they could complete 12 yrs of school, college, law school and pass the bar examination by the time they were 11. But maybe not, because minors are not permitted to sign contracts, etc. so they might be limited in what they could do as an attorney. |

Precious M
lol that funny! whats next 18 month olds becoming president? |

itsL
errrm no lol.
well i guess you could hire an 11 year old if you wanted to loose. |

~Bella~
An 11 year old has the intelligence capability to win a case right? No, sorry they don't have the emotional and mental capacity to be a lawyer for any case bigger than a fight on the school playground. .
Besides you'd have to complete law school first.
But I suppose one could dream |
