I tend to vomit quite a bit. Usually after eating and when I am nervous. This means I end up barfing three to four times a day at work. My boss says the smell is revolting and reaches far beyond the washrooms and also that it is repugnant to walk into a washroom where the sink and the floor are flooded with vomitus. He also says I walk around with flecks of vomitus on my shirt and that I reek of it. I told him to get better ventilation and that I cant always make it to the toilet to barf because the urge is so strong. After this talk naturally I barfed, but in my office. He has given me two weeks notice after this. Is this legal?

If you have not sought medical attention as well as medical accommodation, it sounds like you are creating a health and safety issue in the workplace. So, yes, he can. |
