Is it legal to sell lap dances in night clubs in Illinois?

The women dancing would be dressed. No nudity whatsoever. Simply a lap dance. Would it be legal to charge for this service in a regular night club that is not normally considered an Adult Entertainment venue? I am a promoter and would like to add something like this to my events.

It is a regular bar / dance club. Not an adult entertainment venue.

It has a vip section and off duty police as security.

Your best bet is to check with the local law enforcement in the communities you will be having these event. Many have strict laws about this type of thing. And all it will take is for one of the girls to get a little carried away and expose something, then you, the girl and the bar owner would be in hot water.

One way around it is to actually give free passes to some of the local police and let them come and enjoy it. Its hard for them to bust something that they are a part of.

If the owner gives you permission it may be possible. Of course you would have to share a portion of your profits or somehow include the club in on the proceeds to keep it legal. I would say no because that is like a business within a business and the licensing for that venue may not include the sale of lap dances
