I want to buy a knife over the internet from a US seller but i don't know if is legal or not and don't really want to risk it.

it will more than likely be seized by customs as it is illegal to bring knives into the UK from abroad

Unless the blade is < 3 inches, then it's illegal. That looks a little bit like a commando knife to me. Unless you are a procurement quartermaster for the Royal Marines (which I doubt), you may be done for importing illegal goods - if caught.
