That is a GREAT question. its a good example of how changing the name of something doesn't change the reality, like calling handouts "entitlements" as if the recipients are somehow entitled to them. It is still theft because everything belongs to someone.
The fact it was an undocumented sale by an illegal immigrant worker does not mean the person leaving the store with the good is not a shoplifter.
It is still theft.
Both the illegal immigrant and the person walking out of the store can be charged. |
